One-to-one yoga classes
A private class is built around one person. It can be useful when you are returning after an injury, working with pain or limited mobility, starting after a long break, or simply prefer individual instruction.
Who books a private session
Coming back from an injury. A group class moves at the group's pace. A private one moves at yours, and the instructor can build the whole hour around what you can and cannot do right now.
Working around pain or a diagnosed condition. Backs, knees, shoulders, hips. If a doctor or physiotherapist has told you what to avoid, we work inside those limits.
Limited mobility. Everything can be adapted to a chair, the wall, or a supported position on the floor.
Wanting to be taught one to one. Some people learn better with the instructor's full attention. That is completely fine, and it is often quicker.
Nervous about a group. A private first session is a common way in. Plenty of people do one or two and then join a group class once they know what they are doing.
How it works
Tell us what is going on and what you want help with. The session is then planned around what you can do comfortably. If a doctor or physiotherapist has told you to avoid something, bring that guidance with you.
